PLEASE READ how to register correctly: First, select if you want a regular class ticket (includes three of the SAME color pumpkin), or if you want to add an additional skein of yarn (+$10) to get more color variety and double your pumpkins. These adorable, cozy chunky pumpkins are back for the first time this year! YOU can learn how to make your own pair of chunky yarn pumpkins - no needles required! If you've made a chunky blanket, this should feel a little familiar! Absolutely no experience is needed to create your pumpkins, though. It's so easy and FUN! All supplies and materials to create your pumpkins will be provided at the event, and you'll be guided step-by-step through the process, lead by Sarah, owner and artist of Faire Heart.
What: Learn how to make a set of small, medium, and large chunky yarn pumpkins! (BYOB & snacks if desired) Complimentary tea, hot cocoa, coffee, water is available at the event!
When: Thursday, October 24th, 6-8pm
Where: 3408 W US-10, Ludington, Faire Heart Centre! Parking available in the front and back of the building. Our classroom door is located in the back of the building - look for the turquoise door!
Cost: $35 pre-registration required. Or $25 if you Bring Your Own Yarn (you MUST use the correct jumbo size 7 chunky yarn - we recommend Eternal Bliss by Yarn Bee at Hobby Lobby.) Choose your skein color (makes two pumpkins). If you want two different colored pumpkins, you can trade with someone at the event, OR purchase a second skein (+$10) to switch up the colors, and you will be able to make at least 4-6 pumpkins with two skeins!
There will be many ways you can embellish your chunky knitted pumpkin with a decorative stem! A variety of textures including sticks, twine, ribbon, craft leaves, and more are included as options. At the end of the event, you'll have a set of super cute chunky pumpkins to compliment your home, porch or camper!
When registering on this page, please choose which color(s) you want to make your pumpkins. You will get 2-3 pumpkins from the skein of yarn that's included with your signup. You can trade colors with someone else at the class if you want to exchange half of your yarn! Or purchase an additional skein (+$10).
